What is alternative dispute resolution?
Alternative Dispute Resolution is an alternative approach to traditional litigation. Alternative Dispute Resolution allows parties to a Family Law Dispute to resolve their dispute with the assistance of an independent third person (a Mediator) and work through, negotiate and find solutions to their dispute to achieve an outcome that they are both happy with. ADR is an alternate forum to the Court room and having decisions imposed on parties by a Judge or a Tribunal. Alternative Dispute Resolution allows parties to identify the dispute and work through options to find long lasting solutions.
Our Mediation Assistance
From parenting matters to property disputes, there are many aspects in Family Law in which you may require a Mediator. Our Principal Solicitor, Sarah Cleeland, is a highly qualified and experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) and Nationally Accredited Mediator. We offer mediation services where Sarah is the mediator/FDRP in Family Law disputes, including:

Our Firm offers Mediation Rooms in Sandgate, which are complimentary when Sarah is the appointed Mediator. She is also able to travel to the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Darling Downs, and Toowoomba for no extra fee.
Aside from Sarah, our Firm also offers services where our lawyers can represent the interests of a parent in a Family Dispute Resolution Conference, Mediation, or Child Inclusive Mediation, or represent the interests of a party in property and parenting mediations.
